[Verse 1]
Girl I’m in love with you
Take me to your room
I’ll be there soon
There’s so much to do
When I’m in love with you

[Pre-Chorus]
Take me to your room
Girl there’s so much to do
I’m on the moon

[Chorus]
Girl I’m in love with you
I don’t know what to do
Take me to you
I’ll be there soon
Girl I’m in love with you
I don’t know what to do
Take me to you
I’ll be there soon

[Verse 2]
Cause girl I’m in love with you
Take me to you
I’ll be there soon
There’s so much to do
I’ll be with you soon
Girl I’m in love with you
Take me to you
There’s so much to do
I’ll be with you soon

[Outro]
Girl I’m in love with you
Take me to you
I’ll be there soon
There’s so much to do

[Intro]
And bass up the track a little bit
‘Cause I wanna hear that “Booss, booss,” ya’know’m’sayin’?

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

[Verse 1]
Now who got the flav that comes a dime a dozen
That keeps ‘em buzzin’
Thinking that they phat when they wasn’t
Welcome to the world of Mack, or Mackman
Leave you small guys sayin’, I eat MC’s like Pac-Man
I’m incredible, better eat ya vegetables
‘Cause…I does what I do you (Do it!)
I fake the roof off of soft suckers
Super smackin’, macking, full effect mike check one two
I’ma reign, reign forever
Rain like bad weather, reign like whoever never
You can’t bite my style
‘Cause my style ain’t a style that is a style
So I can go buckwild
Bet you figured you got more funk for flow
It ain’t so
Flava in Ya Ear letcha know
Now I’m about a second from the hook, duk
Scrap ya rap book, ‘fore you get ya wet style shook

[Hook 4X]
Can I get down?
Get on down
Can I get down?

[Verse 2]
The Mack’s like a superintendent
Burning MCs leaves a foul scent
See, I’m like what ya call, king a yes ya’ll
My style’s rick, sick, I mean real sick
Shit’s thick, I come with the ammo
The real whammo slammo stuff that I be droppin
And I’ll wake the great; let’s warm up the hot plate
I’m changing fate from the neck I’ma castrate
My rap loves to alienate
Shake ya ass to ’til it stank; you stomp, I dominate
See, I ain’t scared of you muthafuckas
To me ya all suckers ’cause I make the ruckus
Don’t try to buck us, we roll bulletproof
No cooth, on the roof, bitin’ like a sabertooth
I pound on the ground when I get down
So let me get down, let me get down

[Hook 4X]
Can I get down?
Get on down
Can I get down?

[Verse 3]
Can leap a tall building, crush the Earth for fun
But I’m sayin’ ain’t no fair, yo, when MC’s run
(Ain’t no fair; ain’t no fair)
The mic’s now in the right hands
‘Cause the Mack’s on the Earth just to spoil your plans
More pep than the pepper that’s in ya pepper shaker
Ruff earthquaker, couldn’t take me if ya mama make ya
I back up the funk that I bring with unknown to man slang
With bigger bite than the Devil fang
I ain’t met who could hang
If ya testin in ya lesson
Got me dressin for ya funeral session
Man, it won’t even matter no more
Craig in ’94 just won the war
My style was definite to take ya over
Have ya sittin’ look over in a four door Chevy Nova
(Why I oughta)
I figure its a slaughter
In the world of dollars, ya shit ain’t nothing but a quarter
The name of the track is “Get Down”
So let me get down and pound other MC’s in the ground

[Hook (Repeated until end)]
Can I get down?
Get on down
Can I get down?

Cardi B shot back at Chris Brown insisting that she made Billboard history this week.

This week, the “Bartier Cardi” rapper became only the third artist in history to have their first three entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the top 10 simultaneously, the other two artists are The Beatles and Ashanti. Chris Brown posted on his Instagram yesterday that he and a bunch of other artists have achieved three songs in the top 10 on the chart simultaneously. Breezy clearly misunderstood the difference between having any three of your songs in the top ten at the same time and having your first three songs ever to enter the chart making it to the top ten at the same time.

Cardi B posted a response on Instagram clarifying her achievement for her detractors. “Yall say that I don’t know how to speak proper English, and I say that a lot of yall don’t know how to read,” she said. “Let me be clear! I did not make history for having three songs on the top 10 Billboard Hot 100 at the same time, that’s been done before, more than a few times! I made history for having my first threesongs ever to be entered on the charts hit the top 10 Billboard Hot 100 at the same time, and that has only been done three times.”

She ended her statement saying, “Respect my sh*t and let me live my best life in peace I just wanna be, I just wanna be, successful.” Cardi B’s breakout hit “Bodak Yellow” was the most streamed single by a female artist last year and since the start of the year, the track is seeing a new surge in momentum, jumping two places on the Hot 100 chart this week to No. 10. Can she repeat the same level of success this year with her pending debut album?

Gully Bop says he has finally found true love and Shauna Chyn is dead to him.

Gully Bop’s viral days as a dancehall artist maybe over but that doesn’t mean he has given up on his career or has any plans to come out of the public eye. The “Wuk Off A Me” deejay spoke with journalists earlier this week in the company of his new girlfriend. He opened up about the current state of his career and some recent comments made by his ex-girlfriend Shauna Chyn about what she has done for his career.

According to Bop, Chyn didn’t do anything for his career and it fact its the other way around, he is the one who elevated her career. “A me see Chyn and say yea a 20 year me no chuck on a woman inna me bed,” Gully Bop said. “A round a Frens For Real studio me know the chiney girl not even ina one good shoes. She feel hungry and me buy her lunch and give her a big money cuz … She never carry me go buy no clothes cuz she never have no money; a me send her go shop.”

The dancehall deejay says that he knew that Shauna Chyn was a fake from the get-go but he decided to make good out of a bad situation. In the end, their relationship didn’t last and ended in a very public breakup that saw Chyn uploading a video of Gully Bop attacking her at their home. There were also some rumors that he was homeless again and living in his car, but he denied those claims.

“I don’t live in my car, I have my house. Grants Pen people use to say I was ungrateful ’cause me no come back round dem. Now me come back round dem and mi hear a whole heap a criticism,” Bop said. He added that the rumors started when someone saw him taking a nap inside his car.

Can JAY-Z take home the covetous Song of the Year Grammy award at the 60th Grammy’s?

Last year gave rise to numerous smash hits but unfortunately only one can take home the Grammy for Song of The Year. JAY-Z had a big comeback year with a classic album 4:44 which gave rise to the title track of the same name. The album was one of soul searching and admission by JAY-Z, as well as, education about money and investments and even the younger generation paused and listen to the OG speaking on a record that will go down in history as one of his best body of work to date. JAY-Z lead the Grammy nominations with eight nods with Kendrick Lamar right behind him with seven.

Whether or not he will win the Song of the Year Grammy is still up for debate, because he has some stiff competition since last year was a big year for music. Hov is one of five artists nominated for Song of the Year for his single “4:44”. The other contenders are Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber “Decpacito”, Julia Michaels with her single “Issues”, Logic featuring Alessia Cara & Khalid with “1-800-273-8255” and Bruno Mars “That’s What I Like”.

Despacito is the 3rd Spanish-language song in the history to make number 1 on the Billboard chart since “Macarena” in 1996 and before, was “os Lobos’s” in 1987. Despacito is not only one of the most popular song of 2017, it streamed 8.9 billion streams across platforms such as iTunes, Amazon Music, Spotify etc, with 4.3 billion of those streams from YouTube. It has received Latin Grammy Awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Urban Fusion/Performance, and Best Short Form Music Video at the 18th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. “Despacito” was ranked the fifth best Latin song of all time in 2017 by Billboard and held a position in the top ten songs of the year by Time, Billboard and Rolling Stone.

Jay-Z is among the rappers who have been rocking up the Grammy awards, should he win a trophy for “4:44”, he will move up the ladder as one of the most awarded artists in the history of the Grammy’s.
