Future had something to say about Ciara yesterday and he got burn on Twitter for it.
Ciara sent off a social media firestorm on Sunday when she posted a video of Pastor John Gray preaching about single women should act like married women and carry themselves as wife material. Some of her female fans weren’t too happy about what she was advocating for and blast her for it. Seems her baby daddy Future had something to say about her messaging.
“Make sense on social media. Great Job,” the “Mask Off” rapper wrote. The lesson learn here is you can’t please folks on social media because Future was pretty much siding with the fans who were speaking out against Ciara and he in turn got a backlash for doing just that. It’s like they are saying to him ‘no you are not allowed to speak bad about her, but we are.’

CiCi also posted a response to the backlash while explaining where she was coming from when she posted the video. “I was once that girl wanting to be loved a certain way but was making the wrong choices,” she wrote. “I found myself at my lowest moment. I was a single mom sitting at home, and I then realized that the perfect love I was looking for was how God loves me, how he wants me to be ,oved, and who he was calling me to be as a mom and a woman. Thats when I realized married or not married I needed to love myself.”

Chronixx and Morgan Heritage are neck on neck in a new reggae Grammy poll.
The Grammy awards is less than a week away and there is a lot of attention placed on the award for Best Reggae Album this year because of some strong contenders including three local acts, Chronixx, Morgan Heritage and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley. The Chronology singer and Gong are the hot favorites to take home the Grammy, but in a new online poll, Morgan Heritage might just cause an upset.
Chronixx and Heritage lead the poll with 29 percent of the votes each, while Damian Marley trails the two with 20 percent of the votes. Hawaiian singers Common Kings and J Boog each came in with thirteen and eight percent respectively. A few days ago, the same poll shows Morgan Heritage leading Chronixx by a single percentage, so its safe to give the royal family the edge in the race for the 2018 Reggae Grammy.
There is no clear indication about on how voters will vote for the real Grammy and it could go anywhere. Traditionally, once a Marley is in the lineup it’s almost safe to say they will win, but this year the other acts in the category all released strong albums last year. This is the first Grammy nomination for Chronixx who’s Chronology album was well received. The young singer has made a name for himself in roots reggae music as one of the brightest young voices of this generation. He is the new face of authentic Jamaican reggae and he is getting a lot of praises for his work both locally and internationally.
Morgan Heritage won a Grammy in 2016 and is looking to add a second trophy to their shelf this year for their new album Avrakedabra. Damian Marley already has three trophies under his belt so for him this may just be another nomination. Nevertheless, he is looking to win the Grammy to add to his accolades.
Tory Lanez announced the release date for his upcoming project Memories Don’t Lie.
The Canadian singer will be releasing his forthcoming album in less than two month, 39 days to be exact. Tory Lanez crack the mainstream market two years ago his island flavored project “I Told You” but since then he has been a bit silent on the music scene leaving fans yearning for his next body of work. Over the past months he has been teasing some new singles believed to be part of the upcoming project.
“MEMORIES DONT DIE – 3/2 …. 39 DAYS LEFT,” Lanez wrote on Instagram while announcing a March 2, 2018 release date for the album Memories Don’t Life. The singer also revealed a trailer for the project showing him standing in front of a G Wagon SUV. “A real father wants to know that by the time there child hits, you know 22, 25, you would love to know that your child gone so far beyond anything you’ve ever accomplished,” a voice over said in the short clip.
He also showed some clips from his childhood and images of himself as a father with his own son. The trailer help builds the hype around the project in a year when there are some highly anticipated hip hop albums. So far we’ve heard three singles that will potentially be on the album including “Real Things” with Future.
Joey Badass and XXXTentacion announced a joint album, but fans are saying no don’t do it.
Some fans think that X is too much of a polarized artist for Joey Badass to be entangled with but nevertheless, the New York rapper cosigned working with the “Look At Me” MC so it’s safe to believe they will not listen to the pushback from the fans and push forward with the project. “Why would Joey want to dumb down his music to work with these whack rapper, issa no go for me,” one fan wrote.
X was the first to announce the album in one of his usual series of posts on IG Stories. “xxxtentacion x joey badass collaboration tape,” the South Florida rapper wrote to which JB responded saying, “Letsgoooo.” Joey Badass released a new single “King To A God” last weekend got his fans pumped for his new project. But the Pro Era rapper didn’t get the response he was expecting from fans when he cosigned a collaborative album with XXXTentacion.
Here is what happened after that announcement came out.
i looooooove Joey badass but he just said something on his IG about working with xxxtentacion and i'm so disappointed

There were a handful of fans who cosigned the project, mostly XXXTentacion fans, but Joey’s clan didn’t approved of it.

Quavo shares the producer credits for Migos upcoming album Culture 2.
The album is coming this weekend and so far we know there is a bunch of big names producers who added their touches to the project. Not surprisingly, Quavo names himself on the production credits given that some recent news surfaced that he has been working on beats with Kanye West. He also named himself, Huncho, and DJ Durel as the executive producer of the album.
Other producers who received credits on the project include Honorable CNote, Ricky Racks, Buddah Blessed, OG Parker x Deko, DJ Durel, Metro Boomin, Mike Dean, Kanye West, Zaytoven, Murda Beats, Pharrell, FKI and more, The tracklist will arrive by tomorrow according to sources close to the Atlanta rap group.
Murda Beats and Cubeatz are the producers who worked on “MotorSports” a song Migos dropped last month with Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. That track will be on the album. Pharrell Williams produced “Stir Fry” and C Note did some work on “Superstars.” Based on the available information, the album, Culture 2, will come with 15 to 17 tracks. There were some recent reports that Migos would be working with Kanye West for the album, but seems the G.O.O.D. Music rapper and producer will only make a small contribution to the project.
Culture 2 arrives on January 26th and is one of the most anticipated rap albums this year. Migos claimed in a recent interview with Ebro on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio that C2 will be the biggest album this year. Let’s see how the project will live up to that bold statement from the group. The first installment in the Culture album series was released in January of last year, exactly a year ago. See the announcement Quavo posted on IG on Monday below.
