[Verse 1]
I liked you before you were famous
When we were like homies and kickin’ it
Laid up in bed, with nothing but time
Talking shit deep and off limits like
Religion and politics
Could we or we not commit
And you hated the counterfeit
All of that phony shit
Damn you turned out a hypocrite
I liked you before all that ego
And money went right to your head
You used to put value on women
And now you just count ’em in bed, you
Used to mean what you said
You, used to be such a good friend
Now you’re all on the surface, luxury worthless
Can’t find purpose, in a purchase

[Chorus]
I like you before you were famous
Used to be such a good friend
I like you before you were famous
I like you before you were famous
Used to be such a good friend
I like you before you were famous

[Verse 2]
I liked you before all your new friends
And new bitch whose running her mouth at me
Who can’t mind her business, who watching your phone
Got your password so she can check up on me
And now that girl texting me
Like da, da, da, da, da that bitch just keep texting me
She going, she going, I’m reading, ingnoring
The messages she think she sending me
I liked you before all the parties and pills in LA
When you used to hit me to talk
And now I can’t reach you for days
Used to be good enough boy
For us to just chill at my place, but
Now you need mansions, valet
And girls climbing ladders on dates

[Chorus]
I like you before you were famous
Used to be such a good friend
I like you before you were famous
I like you before you were famous
Used to be such a good friend
I like you before you were famous

[Verse 3]
I liked you before you forgot who you were
And all of the people that got you there
The girl that stood by you, and stood up for you
When nobody else was left standing there
‘Cause babe I stood by you, and stood up for you
When nobody else was left standing there
You wanna come back, and be the old you
I ain’t still standing here
I liked you before you were famous
When we were like homies and kickin’ it
Laid up in bed, with nothing but time
Talking shit deep and off limits like
Religion and politics
Could we or we not commit
And you hated the counterfeit
All of that phony shit
Damn you turned out a hypocrite
I liked you before all your new friends
And new bitch who running her mouth at me
I liked you before you were famous
How can you say you do not mess with me
I liked you before you were famous
How dare you say you do not fuck with me
I liked you before you were famous
Before you were famous

[Chorus]
I like you before you were famous
Used to be such a good friend
I like you before you were famous
I like you before you were famous
Used to be such a good friend
I like you before you were famous
I like you before you were famous
Used to be such a good friend
I like you before you were famous
I like you before you were famous
Used to be such a good friend
I like you before you were famous

Cardi B is dominating Billboard Hot 100 to kick off her New Year.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper became only the third artist in history and the first rapper to have their first three Billboard Hot 100 songs to chart in the top ten simultaneously. The only other two artists to achieve this are Ashanti and The Beatles, according to Billboard. Cardi B joined the elites among artists last year when her debut single “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” topped the chart making her the first female rapper since Lauryn Hill in the late 1990s to top the chart with a solo record.

Now Cardi B is making more history for herself once again on the most recognized music chart on the planet, the Billboard Hot 100. Her song with G-Eazy and ASAP Rocky, “No Limit” jumps one place this week to No. 4, while Migos’ “MotorSport” with Cardi B and Nicki Minaj holds firm at No. 7 on the chart this week. That’s two singles in the top ten where she is a guest artist on, but her debut single “Bodak Yellow” saw some resurgence over the holidays and jumped two places from No. 12 to 10 on the chart.

“What a great way to start my Year.Thank you Lord,” Cardi B wrote on Instagram. “Only you and i know how much i pray to you. These last few weeks been too much for me but my Lord always find a way to uplift me .Thank you to my fans ,DJS ,Team for the support .Thanks to all the artist who featured me In these songs and thanks guys for showing my second single BARTIER CARDI some love I love you.”

It’s very much possible that she can achieve four songs simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 if her new single “Bartier Cardi” continues to gain momentum. The song made its debut on the chart at No. 14 and over the holidays it was a top trending song on some major streaming platforms. Further down on the chart, Cardi B can be found on another song “La Modelo” with latin singer Ozuna which entered the chart at No. 52. “LA MODELO HAS ALSO ENTER THE HOT 100 at number 52 .Thank you guys for the support this honestly one of my favorite songs .Thank you @ozunapr por darme la oportunidad,” Bardi wrote on Instagram.
