Tyrese and his daughter, Shayla, have reunited over the weekend amidst his legal victory over his ex-wife Norma Gibson.

The Fast and Furious singer was spotted with his 10-year-old daughter on Saturday grabbing lunch at Nobu in Malibu. TMZ reported that a judge denied Norma’s request for a permanent restraining order and also awards Tyrese 50/50 shared custody of their daughter. That’s a big blow to his ex-wife since she wanted a permanent restraining order and full custody of Shayla. That would have severely affects how much the actor gets to see his daughter.

In an emotional video on Instagram earlier this month, Tyrese pleaded with authorities not to take his daughter away from him. He also claimed that he is broke and even started to represent himself in court because he is unable to pay his legal fees. In the end the judge ruled in his favor and the two have already worked out a visitation schedule which will see Tyrese having Shayla over the holidays.

His ex-wife accused him of physically abusing their daughter by beating her 12 to 16 times, but Tyrese claimed that she is lying and he only spanked her once. He said that she is simply a bitter ex-wife who is bent on getting revenge because he divorced her and got remarried to another woman.

Tyrese says that his reputation is severely damaged because of the accusations laid against him by his ex-wife, but now that he has been exonerated he will be working on rebuilding it. He also apologize to Will and Jada Smith for dragging them into the saga by falsely claimed that the power couple gave him $5 million.

“I just asked them to forgive me I just took that medicine,” he said. “We had some real conversations about them helping me out but it was that medicine that made me put it up on Instagram.”

Drake joins the long list of rappers who are calling for Meek Mill freedom from prison.

The 6 God is currently touring in Australia and during his show in Melbourne on Saturday night, he paused for a few seconds to support the “Free Meek Mill” movement. We all know the history of Drake and Meek beef is littered with Ws and Ls with the Toronto rapper being the recipient of the Ws. The beef left a bitter taste in both rappers mouths and the two have not spoken to each other or made peace since.

During his performance, Drizzy spotted a fan wearing a T-Shirt that says “Free Meek Mill” and that’s when he paused to share his feelings. “I see you got the Free Meek Mill shirt,” the Views rapper said. “Free Meek Mill too, for real. You right.”

The Philly rhymer is currently serving 2-4 years in prison for probation violation. He was sentenced two weeks ago to serve time in a state prison, but the judge’s heavy-handed sentencing drew widespread outrage among the rapper’s fans and his celebrity peers including JAY-Z who wrote an op-ed in the New York Times speaking out against the justice system and its unfair practices towards African American male.

Drake seems to have the same feelings about Meek Mill’s sentence despite their differences. You can recalled, Meek was the one who instigated the beef when he trashed the Toronto rapper on Twitter while accusing him of not writing his own raps. Drake responded with two scathing diss records, “Charged Up” and “Back To Back.” The later went on to become an anthem and even earned Drizzy a Grammy nomination.

Earlier this year, Drizzy did an interview where he spoke about the beef and said that he and Meek will never be friends again. “That’s just somebody that I never wanna be friends with… I’m not trying to make any songs or be boys, you stay over there and I stay over here,” he said.

Ninjaman had to wait a little longer to know his fate after the verdict in his murder case was pushed back to Monday.

On Monday (November 20), the seven-member jury will resume deliberation and is expected to return a verdict in the almost a month-long case. On Friday, the presiding judge, Justice Martin Gayle, gave his summation of the case and reviewed the evidence presented. He told the judge to only focus on the facts of the case and they should not discuss the case with anyone who is not on the jury panel.

Ninjaman, real name Desmond Ballentine, his son Jamiel, and Dennis Clayton are all on trial for the March 2009 murder of Ricardo Johnson, aka Trooper. The prosecution says that Johnson was gunned down in a yard on Marl Road, Kingston 13. One witness, who testified against the three men, told the court that he could have also been a second victim, but he managed to escape the gunfire and ran for his life. He is now placed in a witness protection program. Ninjaman had a mild heart attack in court when one overseas-based witness was giving testimony. He spent a little less than a week in the hospital and may require heart surgery.

Ninjaman and his three co-accused were on bail since 2012, but last month a judge revoked their bail and ordered them back behind bars. The case was then transferred to a special court that deals with cases over five years old. The artist says he is innocent and is anxious to get the case behind him. Ninja is an icon in dancehall and has been in the business since the 1970s. He started deejaying on sound systems from the age of fourteen. It wasn’t until the early 80s that he gain recognition as an artist in the early days of modern dancehall music.

If found guilty, the dancehall legend could be sent to prison for life.

Nicki Minaj shoots a new video with Lil Uzi Vert but it’s her statement about Lil Wayne that grabs headlines.

The Young Money femcee drops a video clip on Instagram last night of herself and Lil Uzi Vert hanging out on set. Earlier this month, the pair drop the remix for “The Way Life Goes” and that track has since become Nicki’s 82nd Billboard Hot 100 entries. “This dat Nicki. This dat UZI. Who’s ready for the video?” she wrote. “This just became my 82nd Billboard Hot 100 Entry. Thank you guys so much. #TheWayLifeGoesREMIX #Motorsport was my 81st. Barbie working but u ain’t seen nuffin yet!”

Nicki Minaj was also high as sh** and she made sure that she pointed that out before anyone started judging her. “Congratulations, we high as sh*t,” she said. “We feelin’ really good right now. We on the set of the video. It’s just a pleasure to work with him.” Nicki added that Lil Uzi Vert reminds him of his label boss, the man who gave her her first big record deal, Lil Wayne. “He just reminds me so much of Tunechi (Lil Wayne) so everytime I see him, I’m always like, ‘aww, my little baby,’ because he just gives me the Lil Tunechi vibe. And so because of that, I love him. And I love this f***in’ song. Shout out to our fans and all of that. We’re about to give you a killer video.”

Some fans are already questioning Nicki Minaj’s sanity for comparing a young and new artist like Lil Uzi Vert to one of our generation’s most influential rappers and arguably one of the greatest rappers of all time, Lil Wayne. They do share some similarities in that Weezy often refers to himself as a rockstar and Uzi also sees himself in that light.

This dat Nicki.?This dat UZI. ??Who’s ready for the video? – This just became my 82nd Billboard Hot 100 Entry. Thank you guys so much. #TheWayLifeGoesREMIX #Motorsport was my 81st. Barbie working but u ain’t seen nuffin yet! ??

Meek Mill was relieved from solitary confinement but his planned bail hearing was revoked.

Earlier this week, Meek Mill’s attorney filed legal docs asking for the rapper to be taken out of solitary confinement and place with the general population of the local state prison he is being housed. In his legal docs, the rapper argued that he is in solitary confinement for 23 hours per day and that can be detrimental his human psyche and bad for his creativity and active lifestyle. Authorities say they put him there to protect him from the rest of the prison inmates, but Meek says that he will be respected because of his celebrity status and his work in the community.

Meek Mill was moved subsequently moved to another prison all entirely, TMZ reported. In that undisclosed prison, he was placed with the general population so that he can workout and exercise his creativity (writing music). The Philly rapper also has his own cell so he is not sharing a cell with another inmate who would want to do him harm. In that prison, Meek will also be assigned a job to do that usually pats gun 19 cents an hour. That job can be something like cleaning prison cells and cooking in the kitchen.

Meek Mill bail hearing canceled done in error.

The Dreamchasers rapper is now disappointed that his planned bail hearing has been canceled because it was done in error. On Friday, news surfaced online that Meek Mill will be in front of Judge Genece Brinkley for a bail hearing set for November 27.

According to Billboard, the bail hearing was “canceled due to an administrative error.” Meek’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, confirmed late yesterday that the bail hearing has been canceled, but there is no word yet on when or if he will get another bail hearing. Tocopina has filed a motion to have Judge Brinkley recused from further ruling on the case and he wants his client’s probation revoked and for him to be released from prison.

The Philadelphia District Attorney supports the bail motion and also recommended no jail time for the rapper in the first place, but the judge ignored that recommendation and handed down a 2-4 years prison sentence.
