Vybz Kartel currently has a grip on dancehall with his new single “Mhm Hm” and now Foska Oats and Suppligen are getting a big sales boost from the single.

Since dropping the single last month, “Mhm Hm” became an instant hit for Vybz Kartel and a couple lines in the single got corporate Jamaica beaming. “Get the oats, mhm / Get the Supligen, mhm hm / Get the nuts, mhm / Get the nutmeg, mhm hm / Blend it up, mhm / Turn it a your head, mhm hm / Get a gyal and just go get your children,” Karyel deejay over a beat produced by Jones Ave Records.

Dancehall fans have been posting images of their Foska Oats and Suppligen on Instagram in reference to the lyrics of the song. “Right now Foska and Nestle owe Vybz Kartel millions for this big sales boost,” a rep for the incarcerated deejay told Dancehall HipHop. “The only reason why corporate Jamaica is not going for Kartel right now is because he is behind bars. This is the one man who can get your products sell and they know that, but hopefully we can win this appeal and make the boss do road.”

Back in 2009, Vybz Kartel triggered a massive boost in sales for Clarks shoe when he released a song titled “Clarks” with Popcaan and Vanessa Bling. That track went on to become a massive global hit for the deejay and triggered the biggest growth in sales that the British shoe brand has ever seen. Unfortunately, it didn’t earn him any endorsement deal from Clarks, but it was enough to push him to launch his own ventures such as a line of rum and other products like condoms and deodorant.

Yesterday Young Thug was begging his fiance Jerrika Karlae to take him back and today he is threatening to kill her.

Jerrika posted on her Twitter page on Thursday that she is back on the market and that didn’t sit well with Young Thug, who is pleading his case to get her back. “I’m definitely back on the market tho,” she wrote, to which Thugger responded bluntly, “What market?? B*tch u goin die On God.” You can interpret that as a clear threat or you can interpret that as him joking around. Either the “Good Times” rapper is in a tough spot in this breakup.

According to Jerrika Karlae, Young Thug cheated on her with one of her friends and also with another female name Amy Luciani. Thug didn’t denied the allegations, but said that multiple people used his phone hence the reason why she discovered the photos that women sent to him in there. “It wasn’t even my fault man like six ni*** be using that phone man and all that stuff man,” he said

Cardi B won the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards for Best New Artist.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper has been having a great year and is currently sitting at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the last two weeks. The former Love and Hip Hop New York stat attended the award ceremony at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami with her boyfriend Offset from rap group Migos. During her acceptance speech, she thanked her fans, her family, her label Atlantic and Offset for supporting her.

Cardi B got a taste of hip hop history last month when she became the first female since Lauryn Hill to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart with a solo single. “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” has been one of the hottest rap songs on the planet this year and Cardi B is already under pressure to prove that she is not a one hit wonder. Rap fans are already weighing in on her BET Hip Hop Awards win and they are divided. Of course you have the usual critics and then you have some who are loyal supporters, but what are those in the middle saying?

“Why is everybody on Cardi B’s nuts?” one fan wrote. “One song and she’s the best new artist? LOL. Everyone’s so happy for her just cus she’s a female. I’ve never heard any new male artist get the love she’s gotten.”

“I agree she didn’t deserve it but everybody is naming all these “rappers” that should have won but they’re just as garbage as she is so it really doesn’t matter,” another said.

Earlier this week, Cardi B teases a new single on her IG account and it sounds like it’s a worthy follow-up to “Bodak Yellow.” “Used to dance in the club right across from my school / I said dance, not fuck, don’t get it confused / Had to set the record straight, ’cause bitches love to assume,” she raps.
