Vybz Kartel drops the visual for his catchy single “Don’t Come Back” a track where he took shots at his baby mama Shorty.

The track was produced by Vybz Kartel Muzik while the cut was directed Dameon Gayle and shot in Kingston earlier this month. The 3-minute video features two dance crews going up against each other in an epic dance-off. “Don’t Come Back” was released just over a week ago and immediately sparked some controversy over some of the lyrics which some fans think is a shot at his common-law wife Tanesha “Shorty” Johnson.

“Gyal pack up her things, fuck you / Talk ’bout me a stale news (ooh) / Gwaan then but don’t come back / When you hear Worl’ Boss got juice (ooh) / Ungrateful bitch tododooo (ooh) / Adianna and Mommy me choose (ooh),” Kartel deejay. The incarcerated deejay continues to make breakthroughs in mainstream music with one of his singles “Balle Shava” getting featured on the soundtrack for AMC’s hit supernatural action serious Preacher. Despite being locked up for the past six years, Kartel manages to maintain his presence at the top of dancehall.

A video for his new viral hit “Mhm Hm” was also shot earlier this month and will be premiered on Kartel’s Vevo channel sometime soon. Watch the video for Vybz Kartel new single “Don’t Come Back” below.

[Intro: Robbie Williams, Big Narstie]
Base, b-b-b-base
Base, base
Hello, hi
How you mean?

[Verse 1: Robbie Williams]
Bang, bang, gonna do it big
I was born to die but I chose to live
Bang, bang, all in your face
Walk on in like I own the place
Bang, bang, no dignity
I’m gonna lay you out like 1, 2, 3
Bang, bang, I’ll tell you boy
It’s gonna be a long summer

[Hook: Big Narstie, Robbie Williams]
(How you mean?) From the left to the right
(Shout!) To the people down below
(Yo) Are you having a good time, or do you just not know?
(Turn up, throw it up) From the front to the back
Sing along with me
Everybody’s coming just a little temperamental
Everybody in the place go mental

[Chorus: Atlantic Horns, Big Narstie]
The world’s going crazy, can’t stop it
They’ve been pulling me, squeezing me, feeling me and I love it
Go mental
The world’s in my head and it’s spinning
The rhythm of life is unkind but I keep grinning
Go mental

[Verse 2: Robbie Williams]
Bang, bang, I shot you dead
Put you down and went to bed
Bang, bang, all over town
I cocked a verse and then I shot you down
Bang, bang, no dignity
I’ll be a playful beast and you’re history
Bang, bang, I’ll get you boy
It’s gonna be the longest summer

[Chorus: Atlantic Horns]
The world’s going crazy, can’t stop it
They’ve been pulling me, squeezing me, feeling me and I love it
The world’s in my head and it’s spinning
The rhythm of life is unkind but I keep grinning

[Verse 3: Big Narstie]
Lyrical [?]
[?]
Majorly gassed like R Kelly wearing pink [?]
I will upon them all up like Iniesta
Man is gonna turn up (Base)
Big zaggers, man is gonna burn one (Base)
Hello, hi, cuz I’m giving them vibes
Brit-exit, peak times
BD-BDL
BD-BDL
BDL
Mandem, mandem
Raise some fucking hell (Base Defence League)

[Chorus: Atlantic Horns, Robbie Williams]
The world’s going crazy, can’t stop it
They’ve been pulling me, squeezing me, feeling me and I love it
Go mental
The world’s in my head and it’s spinning
The rhythm of life is unkind but I keep grinning
Everybody’s coming just a little temperamental
Everybody in the place go mental

[Verse 1]
I don’t know (know…)
It’s like I’m trapped in a fever
Damning my soul
Just hoping once for a breather

[Chorus]
I tried again
I tried again
Yet I’m stuck inside a game where I just loose and never win
No time to waste
No time to waste
With every tick your [?] like my dreams just run away
So I’m holding on
I’m holding on
I’m holding on to all I am
Still I’m holding on
I’m holding on
I’m holding on to all I am

[Verse 2]
With all I hope
Just hoping I never crumble
Like cracks in a wall
Stuck in the rain and the thunder

[Chorus x1]

[Verse 3]
TO DO

[Outro]
I tried again
I tried
Yet I’m stuck inside a game where I just loose and never win
No time to waste
No time to waste
I’m holding on
I’m holding on
I’m holding on to all I am
Yes I’m holding on
I’m holding on
I’m holding on to all I am
