Rapper Nipsey Hussle shocked his fans on Wednesday when he announced his split from Lauren London.
The actress first hinted on her Twitter page that there is trouble in paradise when she tweeted on Tuesday, “Love. That’s it.” Today, Nipsey followed up with a more direct tweet announcing their split, while referring to their relationship as dope. He also said that the split was mutual and that they still have love and respect for each other.
“[Lauren London] and I had a dope relationship and made a Beautiful child,” the Crenshaw rapper wrote. “we are deciding to separate and raise our Son together as the main priority. This was A mutual choice and We will function with each-other as family w love and respect.”
Nipsey Hussle and Lauren London have been known to keep their relationship private. They welcomed their first child, a baby boy name Kross, last year. They both have kids from previous relationships and London has a son, Cameron Carter, with Lil Wayne. The couple has been dating since around 2013 and was one point rumored to be engaged. They didn’t give any detail about what lead to their split, but a lot of hip hop fans were rooting for them.
Nipsey is currently promoting his upcoming album, Victory Lap, due sometime soon despite not having an official release date.
Love. That’s it.

Eminem highly anticipated new album Revival has a new release date and it could arrive in December.
There has been a lot of rumors surrounding the release of Eminem’s new album Revival over the last couple of weeks. The original release date was November 17th, but the project never arrived on that date. According to HITS Daily Double, the new release date for Revival is December 8th. There has been a lot of mystery surrounding the album since we became aware of it.
So far the only concrete details we have is the title, Revival, and the first single “Walk On Water” featuring Beyonce. That single debut at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last week. There has also been some mysterious medication ads floating around online. Eminem himself has been mummed about the project except to say that it was executive produced by Rick Rubin and has contributions from Dr. Dre.
Revival is the followup to his 2013 album he Marshall Mathers LP 2 which has been certified four times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Eminem’s return to rap music became imminent when he appeared on BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher with a stinging freestyle against President Trump. He then followed that up with his Beyonce-assisted single “Walk On Water” which features Slim Shady rapping over a piano-laden beat.
Eminem appeared on Saturday Night Live last weekend where fans were expecting him to perform two new singles from the album, but instead he performed a medley of his new single “Walk On Water,” and two previously released songs “Stan,” and “Love the Way You Lie” with Skylar Grey. The Detroit rap legend is once again looking to dominate hip hop airwaves with his new project. December 8th is less than two weeks away so get ready. Will you get a copy of Eminem new album Revival?
The local dancehall fraternity has been reacting to Ninjaman murder conviction earlier this week.
The dancehall legend and his two co-accused are staring down a life sentence after being found guilty for killing 20-year-old Ricardo Johnson in March 2009. The conviction in Jamaica’s Supreme Court sent shock-waves through the dancehall community. Several of his peers in the genre including Bounty Killer, Mavado, D’Angel, and Bling Dawg have shared their reaction. “He was my first DJ Jah know star,” Mavado wrote.
“This is a very sad time for me right now I’ve know Ninja Man to be someone you can talk with in any situation, one that is always quick to resolve problems, especially the ones that often times develop amongst artist in the music industry,” D’Angel wrote on Instagram while asking for the deejay to get a second chance. “I’ve learnt to gain respect for Ninja throughout the years even more because I’ve seen how he helped a lot of people in need all over a man with a BIG heart.”
Bling Dawg wrote a lengthy statement condemning some fans who are attacking Ninjaman amidst his conviction.
