Kendrick Lamar stuns the world when he won Video of the Year for his ground breaking video “Humble.”

The song and music video were the first to be released from Kendrick Lamar’s new album DAMN earlier this year and has been one of the biggest hits of the year so far. Not very often we see rapper’s win in this covetous category at the VMAs, but K-Dot has been breaking all types of records this year so his win is not surprising.

Kendrick Lamar went up against some big records like Bruno Mars “24K Magic,” Alessia Cara’s “Scars To Your Beautiful,” The Weeknd’s “Reminder,” and DJ Khaled featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller’s “Wild Thoughts.” Kung-Fu Kenny wwent into Sunday night’s awards with the most nominations a total of eight. By the end of the show he won six of the eight making him the night’s biggest winner. This marks the first time that he has won the Video of the Year category. He also won a moon man for Best cinematography, Best hip hop Video, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, and Best Visual Effects.

“Glory be to god everytime for giving us these amazing talents like my man say I ain’t nothing without my team Dave Free,” Kendrick said while accepting his award. “I’ve been rocking with this guy since I was 14 years old, he has always been a visionary, we always put out hits together, and he is one of the greatest visionaries today in the game. Dave Myers come on man… I think me and Dave Fee been wanting to rock with you since we were 14 years old you know what am saying so thank you for allowing us to take our thoughts and our wild imaginations to the next level. This guy has always been a genius, true pleasure for real.”

Z-RO
Everyday Samethang Lyrics

When the money start lookin’ funny, all my friends get gone
Concerts and studio times, they love to come and kick it
But without gas money Z-ro gone miss it
I thought to myself, this feels like nobody hear me
Even though I screamin’ I must be a demon cuz won’t nobody come near me
People laugh at me because I ain’ got respect like faith
F**k respect I do this to keep a ride and a place
Will I survive cuz God is watchin’
Satan takin’ my sanity please God stop it
Im feelin’ like Snoop cuz murder is the case that they gave me
They knew I ain’ do it, but just to they permission they wanna hang me
I’m feelin’ like Jesus when he was about to be crucified
Please everyone if you don’t help me then you could die
Suicide is safety, but it’s definite hell
Somebody dead and I’m stressin’ in jail
I’m sangin’ the blues

[Hook:]
Everyday I’m still goin’ through the samethang
I’m tryin’ so hard just to maitain
All I ever wanted was just to make a lil’ change
I’m real but niggas still talk downon my name
Everyday I’m still goin’ through the samethang
I’m tryin’ so hard just to maitain
All I ever wanted was to be in the rap game
Cuz my people step on me like I’ma flow mad fame

[Z-ro:]
I’m used to mother organizations, and locs of my own
Evaporate like brillo, when fiends smokin’ that stones
That’s the way we live in the ghetto, if we could we’d change
But don’t nobody love us but trouble, so that’s why we bang
Many funerals to go to, I don’t go to none
Never look in a pinebox, until I see Z-ro in one
Ain’ no future in front, and I’m scared to be decease
But it seems like the only way a guerilla-mobb gangsta gone see peace
Cuz mama waitin’ on me, her grandma Bezzy
Tellin’ me ain’ no hatas in heaven, or detectives to sweat me
And a mansion a home in the ground, that’ll be mine
Hand ready singin’ praises to God that’ll be fine
Plus they tell me the streets made of gold
Here people murder peole, the webbin’ in heaven is under your toes
It ain’ hard doin’ right, it’s just hard to succeed
I wanna live but it’s hard to breathe
It got me singin’ blues

[Hook:]
Everyday I’m still goin’ through the samethang
I’m tryin’ so hard just to maitain
All I ever wanted was just to make a lil’ change
I’m real but niggas still talk downon my name
Everyday I’m still goin’ through the samethang
I’m tryin’ so hard just to maitain
All I ever wanted was to be in the rap game
Cuz my people step on me like I’ma flow mad fame

[Z-ro:]
I came along way, but it’s still alot of road up ahead
To be honest I’m feelin’ like I’m suppose to be dead
People feelin’ like I suppose be happy cuz I’m makin’ some ends
But I’m lonely cuz I cannot communicate with my friends
Niggas I grew up with, be actin’ like we ain’ grow up together
F**k hoes, and po’ up together
Nigga you cried on my shoulders and I cried on yours
Yeah you rode on my enemies, so I ride on yours
But it’s a different day and time
And we don’t even kick it
Ain’ nobody got to holla no mo’ it’s strictly buisiness
But I tell you this, I will always have love for ya
The same nigga bitch I still shed blood for ya
The same nigga blood bitch I love ya
I went to school to fight niggas for you,
Even though we wasn’t blood brothers
F**k that, we was brothers
What we is now
I can’t do nothin’ but continue my years out
But it’s all gravy, ain’ nobody gotta chill with
Only thing I ask nigga keep it real with me

[Hook:]
Everyday I’m still goin’ through the samethang
I’m tryin’ so hard just to maitain
All I ever wanted was just to make a lil’ change
I’m real but niggas still talk downon my name
Everyday I’m still goin’ through the samethang

Ain’t No Wheels On This Ship Lyrics

I used to have big money
That was many moons ago
You used to call me honey
Now you call me so and so

‘Cause there ain’t no wheels on this ship
And we can’t roll, roll, roll
We can’t roll, roll, roll
We can’t roll

You used to be big papa
The cat of every ball
Now listen, little papa
You done had your big downfall

‘Cause there ain’t no wheels on this ship
And we can’t roll, roll, roll
We can’t roll, roll, roll
We can’t roll

You used to like my lovin
Because you liked my dough
Now you don’t want my lovin
‘Cause there ain’t no dough no more

And there ain’t no wheels on this ship
And we can’t roll, roll, roll
We can’t roll, roll, roll
We can’t roll

Well, I’ll tell you for the last time
And I’ve told you this before
If you want to keep your mama
Ya gotta love me more and more

‘Cause there ain’t no wheels on this ship
And we can’t roll, roll, roll
We can’t roll, roll, roll
We can’t roll

We Shall Behold Him Lyrics

Verse 1:
The sky shall unfold, preparing His entrance;
the stars shall applaud Him with thunders of praise.
The sweet light in His eyes shall enhance those awaiting,
and we shall behold Him, face to face.

Chorus:
We shall behold Him.
Yes, we shall behold Him,
face to face in all of His glory.
We shall behold Him,.
Yes, we shall behold Him,
face to face, our Savior and Lord.

Verse 2:
The angels shall sound the shout of His coming,
the sleeping shall rise from their slumbering place.
And those who remain shall be changed in a moment,
and we shall behold Him then face to face.

Chorus

GATSBYS AMERICAN DREAM
The White Mountains Lyrics

The thing is we live in fear
Fear of the monsters in control
Three legged machines that haunt my dreams
Machines made of metal so cold

Could there be something to believe?
A place where we can find the refuge we need
Dwarfing the trees, they block out the sky
Machines fueled by ugliness and greed

Could this be something to believe?
A place where we can find the refuge that we need
A place where their long arms can’t reach
Up in the mountains where we can still believe

From the heights we’ll wage this war
For all the things we long for
So we can think the way we like

This could be something to believe
A place where we can live the music that we breathe
Our lungs are strong as is our song
Up in the mountains where we can still believe

From the heights, we’ll wage this war
For all the things we long for
So we can sing the way we like
