As he came into the window
It was the sound of a crescendo
He came into her apartment
He left the bloodstains on the carpet
She ran underneath the table
He could see she was unable
So she ran into the bedroom
She was struck down, it was her doom
Annie, are you ok?
So, Annie are you ok
Are you ok, Annie
Annie, are you ok?
So, Annie are you ok
Are you ok, Annie
Annie, are you ok?
So, Annie are you ok?
Are you ok, Annie?
Annie, are you ok?
So, Annie are you ok, are you ok Annie?
Annie, are you ok?
So, Annie are you ok?
Are you ok, Annie?
Annie, are you ok?
So, Annie are you ok?
Are you ok, Annie?
Annie, are you ok?
So, Annie are you ok?
Are you ok, Annie?
You’ve been hit by
You’ve been hit by
A smooth criminal
So they came into the outway
It was Sunday – what a black day
Mouth to mouth
Resuscitation
Sounding heartbeats – intimidation
Annie, are you ok?
So, Annie are you ok
Are you ok, Annie
Annie, are you ok?
So, Annie are you ok
Are you ok, Annie
Annie, are you ok?
So, Annie are you ok?
Are you ok, Annie?
Annie, are you ok?
So, Annie are you ok, are you ok Annie?
(Then you
Ran into the bedroom)
(You were struck down)
(It was your doom)
(You’ve been struck by
A smooth criminal)
Okay, I want everybody to clear
The area right now!
Aaow!
(Annie are you ok?)
I don’t know!
(Will you tell us that you’re ok?)
I don’t know!
(There’s a sign in the window)
I don’t know!
(That he struck you – a crescendo Annie)
I don’t know!
(He came into your apartment)
I don’t know!
(Left the bloodstains on the carpet)
I don’t know why baby!
(Then you ran into the bedroom)
I don’t know
(You were struck down)
(It was your doom – Annie!)
Dag gone it – baby!
(Will you tell us that you’re ok?)
Dag gone it – baby!
(There’s a sign in the window)
Dag gone it – baby!
(That he struck you – a crescendo Annie)
Hoo! Hoo!
(He came into your apartment)
Dag gone it!
(Left the bloodstains on the carpet)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
(Then you ran into the bedroom)
Dag gone it!
Aaow!!!

[Verse 1: Cassie]
I’d rather lose a lover than to love a loser
Everything you did, I wouldn’t do it to you
Got my vision clear so now I’m seeing through ya
Writing you a letter, I’mma send it to ya
I’d rather lose a lover than to love a loser
Used to put it on ya like the Kama Sutra
Ain’t no looking back, I’m like the new Medusa
Got you on a Sunday screaming Hallelujah

[Chorus: Cassie]
I would rather lose a lover than to love a loser
Rather lose a lover than to love a loser
I would rather lose a lover than to love a loser
Rather lose a lover than to love a loser
Think I’m under your spell
Tell me is it me or the drugs, ’cause baby I can’t tell (I can’t tell)
Tell me is it me or the drugs, ’cause baby I can’t tell (I can’t tell)
Tell me is it me or the drugs, ’cause baby I can’t tell (I can’t tell)

[Verse 2: G-Eazy]
G, Uh
I’d rather lose a lover than to love a loser, yeah
Damn, that was my baby, thought we had a future, aye
Next to all these options I would always choose her
But she’s fragile, feels like every place I touch, I bruise her, aye
Delicate, I fell back, I can’t tell if it
Really hope that hurts, she told me she been celibate
Said nobody made her feel the way I did
I felt a bit, a little bit conflicted
I heard she had someone new she was messing with, fuck
I can not tell, I think I’m under her spell
I sent her flowers, and all she sent back was, "Hope all is well"
She said that love don’t cost a thing but got that pussy for sale
That woman put me through hell, I fell in love, but oh well
You know? Uh, oh well

[Bridge: Cassie & G-Eazy]
Smoke swirling from the cigarette (What can you do)
Unless you didn’t even see my silhouette (Uh)
Unless… get to know me, even feel it yet? (Eazy)
Confess, you second guessed just how real it gets (Yeah)
Oh yeah

[Chorus: Cassie]
I would rather lose a lover than to love a loser
Rather lose a lover than to love a loser
I would rather lose a lover than to love a loser
Rather lose a lover than to love a loser
Think I’m under your spell
Tell me is it me or the drugs, ’cause baby I can’t tell
Tell me is it me or the drugs, ’cause baby I can’t tell
Tell me is it me or the drugs, ’cause baby I can’t tell (baby I can’t tell)

Masicka is getting his “Energy” up before the new year because he is planning to conquer dancehall in 2018.

The Genahsyde deejay teams with J1 Production for his latest dancehall banger “Energy.” “Spliff a light the energy right / Gal a whine so the energy bright / Money nuff so the energy right / And we no new to this, we do it every night / Guns deh ya so the energy right,” Masicka deejay.

Masicka has been having a phenomenal year with a number of hit records this year. He also scored one of dancehall’s biggest single this year “InfraRed” a collaboration with Vybz Kartel. He also got some attention for a few diss records aimed at Aidonia, but that beef never materialized because the 4thGenna deejay decided not to engaged Masicka.

Listen to the new single “Energy” below.

Popcaan has his eyes set on a major investment in St. Thomas, a move he hopes will drive development in the rural Jamaican parish.

Last month, the Unruly Boss met with St Thomas, Member of Parliament for Eastern St Thomas Dr Fenton Ferguson where the two discussed the bad roads in the parish and the need for development. A rep for the dancehall star told Dancehall HipHop that he plans on not just talking but take action and is planning to use his own money to invest in the community.

“We have a number of ideas that we are planning to act on and so far we are getting outside investors interested in our mission,” his rep said. “Poppy spoke in depth with the MP and the two have agreed that the parish needs some development of infrastructure and business activity. It’s almost like St. Thomas is being left behind and this has been going on for years where we are neglected by politicians.”

Popcaan leads a protest last month in St. Thomas where he called for the government to fix the deplorable roads in the parish. “We have been trying to get the Government’s attention for a while now, and still no change,” Popcaan said. “St Thomas is a parish where we don’t have a lot of things, but right now, we’re just asking for the road.”

NotNice is speaking out on the killing of Vybz Kartel‘s protege Gaza Maxwell.

The former Gazanation deejay was stabbed to death last month at a studio in Springfield, St Thomas. Police officers are actively investigating the murder but have not yet made an arrest. Producer NotNice says Maxwell’s death is a big blow for him because he was someone he worked with closely in the past. “Me stress out because is somebody me used to work closely with from Gaza days, so fi hear this, and the way him dead, it messed up,” the beat maker said. “Gaza Maxwell didn’t deserve to die that way. He was a good youth.”

NotNice says that it was Vybz Kartel who lead him to work with Gaza Maxwell and the last song that they did together was “Miss You” which is a rest in piece song featured on the Eternal Riddim. After Kartel disbanded Portmore Empire in 2012, Gaza Maxwell then moved to St. Thomas to further pursue his music. “Mi nuh voice ‘fool fool’ artiste, and Kartel nah go recruit ‘fool fool’ artiste, either. And a really Kartel did bring him come as a part of the Empire,” NotNice added. “Kartel say him (Maxwell) did remind him a the Festival man, Eric Donaldson, and a so comes me get fi voice him.”

Vybz Kartel learned about Gaza Maxwell’s murder while in the hospital last month. Sources say the dancehall star is hurt by the news.
