[Chorus]
Lord, when they call my phone I just press ignore
Couple A&Rs live on my front porch
They say that I’m almost on I tell them I know
Know oh oh oh oh

Lord, when they call my phone I just press ignore
Couple A&Rs live on my front porch
They say that I’m almost on I tell them I know
Know oh oh oh oh

[Verse 1]
My circle full
They thought that I need them but I’m cool
Taking my space up they better move
‘Cause if it ain’t this shit what would I do
Probably give it to her like she wanna
Hands up on her make her jaw drop
And the only time she running to me now
When she run and come and give me nana
I’m into getting my funds up
I got a bitch out in London
They don’t know just how much shit be ringing on me

[Chorus 2x]
Lord, when they call my phone I just press ignore
Couple A&Rs live on my front porch
They say that I’m almost on I tell them I know
Know oh oh oh oh

[Verse 2]
My circle full
Thought that they was special they confused
The truth is I don’t think I’m much like you yeah yeah
I ain’t no fool yeah yeah
I paid my dues on dues now they can kiss my ass
Remember when they would talk down its like now they be lucky if talking to me
Just came from Germany fresh off the flight after signing the deal of your dreams
I just don’t think you’d know
Quite how much they would call

[Chorus 2x]
Lord, when they call my phone I just press ignore
Couple A&Rs live on my front porch
They say that I’m almost on I tell them I know
Know oh oh oh oh

[Middle 8 2x]
Change, how could I change I’m used to me
Way, there is no way to cut these strings

You can’t be too careful these days. Chance the Rapper live stream a police traffic stop in Chicago.

The Chi-Town emcee had queen an eventful weekend but he never expected to be pulled over by cops. Thankfully we live in an age of technology like Instagram Live where young black men especially can live stream whenever they gets pulled over by cops. Chance did just that on Sunday afternoon when a Chicago PD officer pulled him over. He noted that he live streamed the whole thing just in case things got out of hand.

“Just want y’all to be here in case it gets out of hand,” the rapper said in the video. “Should be good though. Should be straight. I have great faith in humanity and the men and women that put on the badge — but, you know, you can’t be too careful.” Chance the Rapper wasn’t the one in the drivers seat, it was his baby mama Kristin Corley, who at one point asked him why he was streaming the traffic stop live. The couple was driving home from church with their daughter in the vehicle when the traffic stop took place.

Cops say they pulled over Kristin Corley for a moving violation and eventually sent her on her way with just a warning. Later that evening, Chance the Rapper posted a photo of himself with Kanye West and Dave Chappelle whom he had lunch with. Back in June, the “No Problem” rapper issued a public apology to Dr. Dre for disrespecting Aftermath Entertainment during his “Be Encouraged Tour.” “I want to formally apologize to Dr Dre, and all of Aftermath for publicly disrespecting their hard work and contributions to music,” Chance said on Twitter. The Chicago rapper is still an independent rapper and is pretty successful although he is not signed to any label.

Jhene Aiko celebrates divorce with a giant tattoo of her boyfriend Big Sean.

The R&B singer recently finalized her divorce from producer Dot Da Genius paving the way for her to get more serious with Big Sean whom she has been dating for the past year. The large tattoo is a portrait of Big Sean wearing a tux a beard and diamond earings. The ink was done by famous Los Angeles tattoo artist Miryam “The Witchdoctor” Lumpini.

Miryam posted two photos of the tattoo on Instagram on Monday. Jhene Aiko and Big Sean went public with their relationship last year when they kissed on stage. The next week she announced her split from Dot Da Genius whom she was married to for 11 months prior to their split. Their divorce was finalized last week paving the way for her to get this tattoo as a slap in the producer’s face. The real winner in this situation is Big Sean because he has no tattoos of her, at least none that the public is aware of.

Kodak Black is facing 30 years in prison following his indictment on Monday for first degree criminal sexual conduct.

Kodak, born Dieuson Octave, will be standing trial for the charge which stemmed from an incident that took place last year where he allegedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl. The Pompano Beach rapper was arrested in November of last year after the victim reported the incident her school nurse in Richland County, Fader reported. The school then contacted law enforcement who quickly responded to the report and arrested the rapper.

The alleged sexual battery case reportedly took place in February 2016 in Florence County, South Carolina when Kodak Black was in town for a concert at the Treasure City club. The female told police that the rapper forced himself onto her at a Comfort Inn on 2120 West Lucas Street in Florence. Authorities released additional information about the case last year November detailing how Kodak “forced the victim onto the bed in the room and then onto the floor of the room” before raping her. There are also recordings of the female telling the rapper “no” and to “stop.”Nevertheless, Octave did not stop and proceed to do what he did.

His label Atlantic Records released a statement saying that it is aware of the indictment and was expecting it as part of normal proceedings involving the case. If found guilty, Kodak Black could be sentenced to up to 30 years in prison. Kodak is currently on probation for a separate charge after being released from prison in December. In March he was arrested for probation violation and spent 30 days behind bars. Any more violation could land him back in jail for a much longer time. The “Tunnel Vision” rapper is getting ready to hit the road for his “Project Baby” tour of the U.S. where he will perform at 16 tour stops from October to December.

Popcaan drop a new collaboration with UK rapper Giggs titled “Times Tickin.”

The Unruly Boss continues to push his career internationally with a new collab with London based rapper Giggs who you can find on Drake’s latest album More Life. “Times Tickin” will be featured on the rapper’s new mixtape Wamp 2 Dem. The project also saw guest appearances from some big names like Lil Duke, Young Thug, and 2 Chainz, but it’s this single with Popcaan that is getting the most attention on the project thus far.

Giggs has had a huge impact on the London rap scene but now he is winning over a considerable amount of the U.S. rap audience thanks to his appearances on Drake’s blockbuster album More Life. Although he sees himself as a hardcore rapper, Giggs is mostly seen as a Grime artist, which is a sub genre that used elements of dancehall, ragga, and hip hop to create a unique sound in the U.K. in the early 2000.

“They say grime doesn’t come from hip hop, but I think it does,” Giggs said in a recent interview. “Cause men are rapping in it. Spitting in it, on the beat. Know what I’m saying? But they say grime is that 140 BPM. Well there’s 140 BPM rap playing. But, obviously, I don’t know, they just want to say that they do grime and keep it in that. But, to me, obviously I’m a rapper, isn’t it? But people say, yeah, Giggs is a sick grime artiste cause of his country. I don’t know man. Cause of everyone else that’s come up and made a name for themselves, they’ve all come from grime. Like I’m talking before I come, it’s like they don’t know anything else. It’s like they don’t even know that American hip-hop’s always been around.”

In case you want to remind yourself who Giggs is go and listen to Drake’s song “KMT” he has a killer verse on that track, and while your at it take a listen to his new mixtape “Wamp 2 Dem” on Apple Music.
