Meek Mill scored his second legal victory this month after getting his airport assault case dismissed.

This is the second W for the Philly rapper in October in the courts. Earlier this month, he struck a deal in a traffic case in New York City which sees him walking away with just community service. Back in March of this year, he was slapped with a misdemeanor assault charge in St. Louis after getting into an altercation with a fan who claimed that he just wanted to take a picture with the rapper.

Just like his NYC traffic case, Meek Mill struck a deal with prosecutors which will see him doing some more community service, TMZ reported. His high profile lawyer, Joe Tacopina, confirmed the news yesterday. For the traffic case, Meek will have that record wiped clean from his name, as part of the deal he struck.

The Dreamchaser rapper is looking to put all of his legal troubles behind him so he can clean up his image to attract more corporate deals, or perhaps he just doesn’t want them hanging over his head. Meek Mill is currently working on some new music but he has yet to announced any new albums or mixtapes.

Jesse Royal scored his first No. 1 album with his debut album Lily Of Da Valley and this week the project returns to the top spot on Billboard.

The “Modern Day Judas” singer is widely regarding as one of the most promising voices in this generation of reggae music. Lily Of Da Valley is his first body of work. The project comes with 14 tracks and saw guest features from Mersa Marley, Natty Rico, and Patrice. The album also features previously recorded singles “Mordern Day Judas” and “Finally” which has been two of his biggest singles to date.

The album is currently in its second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart. Elsewhere on the chart, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley new album Stony Hill is currently at No. 2, Chronixx album Chronology is at No. 5 while Major Lazer holds the No. 9 spot with their Know No Better EP.

Vybz Kartel appeal case is progressing very well according to one of his attorneys Valerie Neita Robertson.

The trial is set to commence in the Jamaica Appeal Court in February of next year, but there are still some doubts among the dancehall artist’s fans about whether or not he will be vindicated. Currently, there are not a lot of faith in the Jamaican justice system, but Kartel’s attorneys have expressed confidence in winning the case come next year.

“The appeal is progressing pretty well, we have seen some delays, but don’t worry about that, that is on the management and administrative side, but other than that, things are progressing well,” Neita Roberston told Loop. “We have certain things to do within a prescribed time and it will be done.” The veteran lawyer added that the defense team is going into the trial well prepared and will be very detailed in their argument on why he was not given a fair trial.

Vybz Kartel, Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Andre St John, and Kahira Jones were convicted in 2014 of the murder of their friend Clive “Lizard” Williams. All four men are currently serving life sentences for the gruesome murder where the victim’s body was never found. The murder trial sparked a lot of controversies and most fans of the artists are left with an impression that he was not given a fair trial. There were issues of police intimidating witnesses and tampering with evidence, as well as, a well-publicised issue of one juror attempting to bribe the forewoman to return a not guilty verdict. That juror, Livingston Caine, is currently on trial for corruption and conspiracy and could face up to three years in prison.

If he loses the appeal, Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, will have to serve 35 years before being eligible for parole. He already served six years.

No celebrity has had the kind of enduring career that Drew Barrymore has had in her 39 years in Hollywood.

An offspring of the iconic Barrymore family, the 42-year-old leading lady has been acting since she was a mere 3-years-old.

In 1982, Drew won our hearts in E.T. But then the cute kid grew up and turned into a wild child, starring in Poison Ivy in 1992 and Bad Girls in 1994—the same year she got married for the first time at only 19-years-old. Drew had some troubled times, but then she cleaned up her act and her acting roles started to change for the better after her spine-chilling cameo in the 1996 sleeper hit Scream.

The bubbly star began nabbing big roles in big films like The Wedding Singer (1998), Ever After (1998) and Never Been Kissed (2000), cementing her star status as a leading lady.

She went to star in blockbuster hits like Charlie’s Angels, 50 First Dates and He’s Just Not That Into You.

But Drew wasn’t content with just being in front of the camera. In 1995 she started her own production company, Flower Films, which has produced 15 movies and six television shows over the past 22 years.

As for her personal life. It’s dipped and peaked and dipped again. She was briefly married to funnyman Tom Green from 2001–2002, but that ended. Eventually, the shinning star married Will Kopelman in 2012 and had two children with him before they announced their split in 2016.

Nowadays, the recently divorced A-lister is starring in her own Netflix series, The Santa Clarita Diet, which she also captains as the show’s executive producer.

The mother of two may be in the biz almost 40 years, but screen queen can’t stop, won’t stop slow down.

When it comes to denim, it doesn’t get more flattering or polished than a high-rise style.

And as a basic rule for wearing them, you want to pair them with pieces of the right proportions—what’s the point of wearing them if you’re not showing off the high waist? All of your tops should either be cropped (tees, sweaters, long sleeves, etc.) or tucked in, added layers are always welcome, the higher-end the accessory the more sophisticated your outfit will look and really any footwear will do. Remember all of those unwritten rules and you’re ready to rock yours all day.

Morning: Mornings tend to be chilly, so bundle up in a big sweater and toss a jacket over top like Kendall Jenner. A pair of booties and a cute bag later, and you’re brunch-ready.

Noon: When it comes to dressing for afternoons, chances are you want to keep it somewhat professional—in case you’ve got some work to do. A blouse is always a great idea then pair it with a great duster, loafer slides, a bag and finish the look with a hat. Heels or flats work for this ensemble!
