All Mama’s Children Lyrics

There was an old woman that lived in a shoe
She had so many children, she didn’t know what to do
They were doin’ all right, till she took ’em to town
The kids started pickin’ ’em up and puttin’ ’em down

Now all your children wanna rock, mama
All your children want to roll
They wanna roll, wanna rock, wanna bop till they pop
All your children want to rock

Well, we’re not tryin’ to live too fast
And we might as well try to live in class
Better move out before the rent comes due
‘Cause we wanna live in a blue suede shoe

All your children want to rock, mama
All your children wanna rock
Wanna roll, wanna rock, wanna bop till they pop
All your children want to rock

Well, every night when it’s quiet and still
You can hear it echoing through the hill
From a blue suede shoe on a mountain top
All of mama’s children are doin’ the bop

All your children wanna rock, mama
All your children want to roll
They wanna roll, wanna rock, wanna bop till they pop
All your children want to rock

Well, all your children wanna rock, mama
All your children wanna roll
They wanna roll, wanna rock, wanna bop till they pop
All your children want to rock

Circles Lyrics

Lyrics:
You got me running round in circles playing games all
day,
You said it won’t be easy but that’s okay. Woo.

Easy come and easy go that’s what they say
It never comes as easy as to take it away.
I wanna be the one you want but I can’t change
I know I will always just stay the same
And I will be the last one standing in your eyes
tonight

Singing, come on, come on, you know we’ll be alright.
Come on, come on, you know we’ll be just fine.
When you’re in my arms tonight,
Singing, come on, come on, you know we’ll be alright.

You keep me on my toes with all your tricks and games,
Playing to your rules but they just always change.
Trying not to think of all of the games you play.
Easy come and easy go you threw it away.
And I will be the last one standing in your eyes
tonight

Singing, come on, come on, you know we’ll be
alright.
Come on, come on, you know we’ll be just fine.
When you’re in my arms tonight
Singing, come on, come on, you know we’ll be alright

Come on, come on(CHANT X 8)

Singing, come on, come on, you know we’ll be alright.
Come on, come on, you know we’ll be just fine.
When you’re in my arms tonight
Singing, come on, come on, you know we’ll be alright
When you’re in my arms tonight
Singing come on, come, you know we’ll be alright
Tonight

Water Lyrics

Wait for me underneath the water
Wait for me I have to go now
Into the big city
She pulls me firmly towards her
Wait for me underneath the water
Wait for me here
You’ll be fine underneath the water
I’ll be back early next summer

We met again at the lake
After all these years,
You said "want a drink? "

I love you
And you know I will be back
Hold your breath
And nestle into the ice
Wait for me underneath the water
Wait for me and count to ten
You’ll look up and I will be there
Wait for me

The lake was frozen,
You took me for a walk over the ice,
I cracked
The ice cracked
I fell into the lake
I watched you through the eyes

Love into you
Wait for me underneath the water
Wait for me and singalong
"she’s coming, coming, coming"
Wait for me

I watched you through the ice
I expected you to crawl for help
I smiled, you just stood there
I tried to kiss you through the ice,
You just walked away

Blackened Sky Lyrics

Under a blackened sky
far beyond the glaring streetlights
sleeping on empty dreams
the vultures lie in wait
You lay down beside me then
you were with me every waking hour
so close I could feel your breath

When all we wanted was the dream
to have and to hold that precious little thing
like every generation yields
the new born hope unjaded by their years

Pressed up against the glass
I found myself wanting sympathy
but to be consumed again
oh I know would be the death of me
and there is a love that’s inherently given
a kind of blindness offered to appease
and in that light of forbidden joy
oh I know I won’t receive it

When all we wanted was the dream
to have and to hold that precious little thing
like every generation yields
the newborn hope unjaded by their years

You know if I leave you now
it doesn’t mean that I love you any less
it’s just the state I’m in
I can’t be good to anyone else like this

When all we wanted was the dream
to have and to hold that precious little thing
like every generation yields
the new born hope unjaded by their years…
