Kodak Black is not letting his indictment distract him from his music.

A day after getting indicted for first degree sexual conduct, Kodak Black drop a new music video for his single “Snot Thot.” This video is particularly interesting since it portrays Young Kodak in a light that we are not used to. The cut features the Pompano Beach rapper falling in love with a beautiful female who other people told him that he should avoid at all cost.

At the start of the video, Kodak Black stands outside while arguing with a female before getting vex and head back inside his house where he say a female twerking while he looks on with approval. “They telling me she a thot / That ho over there / But I don’t even care if she got gonorrhea,” Kodak raps while sitting on the coach and looking on as the female continues to show off her dancing skills.

Kodak Black live out his fantasies about turning a ho into a princess, he has some serious legal troubles to attend to. On Monday, he was indicted with first degree sexual battery which carries up to 30 years in prison if convicted. He has not spoken publicly about the indictment, but he will have to stand trial for the crime which was allegedly committed back in 2016 at a hotel in Florence, South Carolina.

Watch Cardi B shaking her ass-ets while celebrating her 25th birthday on Wednesday (October 11).

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper posted a video on Instagram at midnight on Tuesday night to mark the beginning of her birthday celebration. The one-minute clip shows her shaking her ample rear while her friend yelled in the background, “If it’s your birthday make some noise.” Cardi B has a lot to be celebrating right now not just her 25th birthday. She has the number one song on the planet and she just wrapped up a well-received performance at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards.

Cardi B’s boyfriend Offset of Migos is throwing a party in her honor sometime this week and also will be presenting her with some expensive gifts. “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” is now in its third week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart making her the longest running female solo rapper at the top of the chart in history. Bardi also picked up three awards at last night’s BET Hip Hop Awards for Best New Artist, Hustler of the Year, and Single of the Year, which is all the more accolades for her to celebrate, she deserves all the glory she is getting now.

Cardi B is currently working on her new album, due early next year. She is also prepping her fans for her follow-up hit to “Bodak Yellow.” Last week she previewed a new single on Instagram that sounds fire, but she has decided yet if that will be her next solo single. Interestingly, Nicki Minaj is also working on her new album and with a soft rivalry going on between these two ladies, this should make for an interesting comparison when both projects arrive. Neither has given any release dates or titles for their respective projects, but we haven’t had a female rap album in a while so both projects are well overdue.

Shmood !!!!

[Verse 1]
New chapter, new page
Made some money off the first mixtape
Now I’m livin’ good, chillin’ by a beach that’s not a lake
Said the Earth controls the moon so we control the waves
So let me say that shit again
Hope they listen to what I’m sayin’
While that blood flow through you
Please don’t live your life in vain
And if I get better with age
But all my visions ancient
Then we could freeze time to see these pictures that we painted
They release a little bit of dopamine and inspiration
Damn, what a sensation, keep it Ben Franklin
You can get it too
Life been like a dream lately
That’s ’cause I’m livin’ lucid
And you control your world, swear I’m livin’ proof
And I remember In Living Color on in the livin’ room
Damn, I miss my mother, now we at them parties you can’t get into
Makin’ bitches kiss each other
Damn, what you finna do?
Look up in the stars and make your problems seem minuscule, like…

[Chorus]
What makes us love?
What makes us dream?
I found the light
Now it’s all I see
So we ride that wave (that wave)
When that tide comes in
And that water deep
So be prepared to swim
Be prepared to swim
So be prepared to swim
So be prepared to swim
The mind’s receptive
You can catch a signal
‘Cause waves ripple if you pay attention

[Verse 2]
See this that deep water
Tread lightly, got good karma
And some clean chakras, a clear psyche
I can see everything comin’ to me
Like, “Oh my goodness”
I see world tours, fast cars and big booties
But I’m just focused on my contribution, my contribution
And if I die tonight, just promise me that you’ll listen to it
I put my heart and now my soul in it, this shit weighted
And if I try to live forever, will someone save me?
Look, I’m a hustler by trade
An artist by night and dreamer by day
But these days I can’t tell the difference soon as I wake
And I say that because, yeah, I know that somethin’ awaits
And the rest of the gang straight, look how far we done came

[Chorus]
What makes us love?
What makes us dream?
I found the light
Now it’s all I see
So we ride that wave
When that tide comes in
And that water deep
So be prepared to swim
Be prepared to swim
So be prepared to swim
So be prepared to swim
So be prepared to swim
So be, so…

[Chorus]
Lord, when they call my phone I just press ignore
Couple A&Rs live on my front porch
They say that I’m almost on I tell them I know
Know oh oh oh oh

Lord, when they call my phone I just press ignore
Couple A&Rs live on my front porch
They say that I’m almost on I tell them I know
Know oh oh oh oh

[Verse 1]
My circle full
They thought that I need them but I’m cool
Taking my space up they better move
‘Cause if it ain’t this shit what would I do
Probably give it to her like she wanna
Hands up on her make her jaw drop
And the only time she running to me now
When she run and come and give me nana
I’m into getting my funds up
I got a bitch out in London
They don’t know just how much shit be ringing on me

[Chorus 2x]
Lord, when they call my phone I just press ignore
Couple A&Rs live on my front porch
They say that I’m almost on I tell them I know
Know oh oh oh oh

[Verse 2]
My circle full
Thought that they was special they confused
The truth is I don’t think I’m much like you yeah yeah
I ain’t no fool yeah yeah
I paid my dues on dues now they can kiss my ass
Remember when they would talk down its like now they be lucky if talking to me
Just came from Germany fresh off the flight after signing the deal of your dreams
I just don’t think you’d know
Quite how much they would call

[Chorus 2x]
Lord, when they call my phone I just press ignore
Couple A&Rs live on my front porch
They say that I’m almost on I tell them I know
Know oh oh oh oh

[Middle 8 2x]
Change, how could I change I’m used to me
Way, there is no way to cut these strings

You can’t be too careful these days. Chance the Rapper live stream a police traffic stop in Chicago.

The Chi-Town emcee had queen an eventful weekend but he never expected to be pulled over by cops. Thankfully we live in an age of technology like Instagram Live where young black men especially can live stream whenever they gets pulled over by cops. Chance did just that on Sunday afternoon when a Chicago PD officer pulled him over. He noted that he live streamed the whole thing just in case things got out of hand.

“Just want y’all to be here in case it gets out of hand,” the rapper said in the video. “Should be good though. Should be straight. I have great faith in humanity and the men and women that put on the badge — but, you know, you can’t be too careful.” Chance the Rapper wasn’t the one in the drivers seat, it was his baby mama Kristin Corley, who at one point asked him why he was streaming the traffic stop live. The couple was driving home from church with their daughter in the vehicle when the traffic stop took place.

Cops say they pulled over Kristin Corley for a moving violation and eventually sent her on her way with just a warning. Later that evening, Chance the Rapper posted a photo of himself with Kanye West and Dave Chappelle whom he had lunch with. Back in June, the “No Problem” rapper issued a public apology to Dr. Dre for disrespecting Aftermath Entertainment during his “Be Encouraged Tour.” “I want to formally apologize to Dr Dre, and all of Aftermath for publicly disrespecting their hard work and contributions to music,” Chance said on Twitter. The Chicago rapper is still an independent rapper and is pretty successful although he is not signed to any label.
