Shenseea has been having a phenomenal year in dancehall and it’s only getting better for the fast rising female deejay.
Aside from scoring a number of hits for herself this year, Shenseaa also snatched up a few corporate endorsement deals for herself including deals from Pepsi and now FLOW. She is featured in a new holiday ad for FLOW with her 2-year-old son, Rajeiro. The advertisement features the dancehall deejay, real name Chinsea Lee, hanging with her family while juggling her her own personal business which includes recording a song using her phone.
“This one is very special to me for two reasons first, because it is the first time I am appearing onscreen with my heartbeat, my darling son, Rajeiro, and also because I love the Christmas season, and I was happy to get an opportunity to show off my talent in another kind of way,” Shenseea said.
FLOW VP of marketing, Carlo Redwood, said the company wanted to show off the more family oriented side of Shenseea, a side of her that fans haven’t really seen before. The Christmas advertisement is currently being run on local TV stations.

Lyrics to ‘Taylor Swift – This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things’ by Taylor Swift:
Then there was the notorious unveiling of some Snapchat “receipts” by Kim Kardashian West, which prompted her fans to descend on Swift in a flurry of snake emojis. Though she laid relatively low for the last year, Swift seems to have gotten over trying to stay above the fray on a few Reputation tracks, particularly, “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things.

Gucci Mane drop his new album, Mr. Davis, in October and now he might drop his next project, El Gato, by the end of the year.
Gucci is known to drop a lot of project simultaneously so this move shouldn’t come as a surprise. About two weeks after dropping Mr. Davis, the Atlanta rapper announced his next album, El Gato: The Human Glacier, on Twitter. “I’m naming my next album #El Gato the #HumanGlacier I wanna make 10 mo million for my honeymoon #1017 #MrDavisTheAlbum,” he tweeted.
Sources around the production are saying that he is looking to drop the album before Christmas. “The album is coming possibly before Christmas and that’s a fact,” sources told us. “El Gato look out because it will be album of the year contender and some surprise guest will be on it. This will be a Christmas present for the fans.” Gucci Mane just renewed his contract with Atlantic Records for a whopping $10 million, so perhaps that was the $10 million he spoke of when he announced that album last month.
Gucci Mane has released 11 studio albums since 2005 and since his released from prison last year May he released four albums including a joint project with Metro Boomin, DropTopWop. Gucci has been laser focused on making his money this year and has even found a way to profit off his wedding by having it broadcast on BET live. Seems he also found a way to profit off his honeymoon.

August Alsina maybe soon hear from lawyers representing Def Jam Recordings.
The R&B singer took to Twitter on Monday to blast Def Jam while calling the label trash and saying that they are holding his music hostage and holding him hostage. The root of his grouse with the label seems to be about his long awaited new album which should serves as the followup to his 2015 LP This Thing Called Life. The 25-year-old singer seems highly frustrated with the label and even told his fans that he will instead drop some free music soon.
“I would love to put my album out but DEF JAM is holding it/me hostage because the system is not up & running until next year so they basically dont exist,” August Alsina said. “The label is just TRASH .. I will release free music soon but that has been the hold up. Tell Them to FREE ME & the Album.”
His statement is in response to a fan who asked him, “Ayo [August Alsina] where is the album at bro?! 2017 was a tuff year. I need some of your newest work, I’m goin threw a lot of sh*t.”
