Both Mavado and Alkaline were targeted in the new diss record from the Mobay deejay who has been beefing with both artists this year. Last month, Mavado released a new single, “Timer“, where he took shots at Tommy Lee Sparta and Popcaan. The Gullyside singjay didn’t release the song as a diss track, but the lyrics clearly pointed to who it’s directed towards.
The artwork for “Enemy” shows an image of someone with dreadlocks which depicts Mavado being held by a strand of his locks while a handgun is pointed at his head. “Mi no see the fake dread / Weh hard fi dead like forty leg / Mac 10 chop off him head like waan fish head / Anything weh par with them mi target them / Any man weh favor mongrel dog mi wan see them / Drive all the Benz mi waan see them… / Anno block and delete yo see it block and cement,” Tommy Lee deejays over a beat produced by Cyzmik Music.
Before dropping the single, Tommy Lee asked his fans on Instagram if he should respond to Mavado. “Wa them a say angel in a demon fight, wrong time yo go buy down a market man… who fi dead mi fans who fi dead,” he said. Listen Tommy Lee Sparta new Mavado diss song “Enemy” below.
In case you do not know, Tyrese has been going through a lot over the past couple of weeks, with allegations from his ex-wife that he abused their 10-year-old daughter. She eventually got out a restraining order against him that triggered a bitter custody battle. At one point, Tyrese posted a video on Instagram of himself crying over the ordeal but that’s not all that went down. He later posted that Will and Jada Smith gave him $5 million to help with his legal fees because he is broke. 50 Cent trolled the Baby Boy actor for crying on the Gram.
Turns out the Will and Jada story was a lie and 50 Cent has already pounced on it. Sources say Will Smith has denied Tyrese story saying that the couple never gave him the money. The rapper posted a screenshot of the story on Balleralert. “Wait so this fool just made some sh*t up. LOL Will like I ain’t give him that #50centralbet tonight 10:30 PM on BET,” 50 Cent wrote. He then posted a video of the R&B singer saying he is waiting on the wire for his Will Smith check. The clip is a mashup of movies scenes from both Tyrese and Will Smith and it’s hilarious.
Tyrese is proclaiming that he is broke and cannot even afford to pay his legal fees but celebrities have been known to portray being broke to avoid paying an enormous child support. In this case, Gibson’s baby mama is asking for a reported $80,000 per month. So clearly, he does not want to be paying that enormous amount in child support, so he is wining and squealing down to the very end hoping that the judge will have sympathy on his and significantly lower the child support amount that his baby mama is asking for.
The colorful clip was directed by Dan Streit and Lindsey Nico Mann and features a 1980s theme video. The cut starts out with Busy Signal sitting while surrounded by four monkeys. The clip then transitioned to a group of male and female dancers showing off their skills in a bit of a dance off. Walshy Fire also made a cameo in the video.
“Mash up mash up mash up the place / When mi walk in everything lift (Jump!) / And everybody hold a vibe / Everybody get high like dem have a big spliff,” Busy deejay. Major Lazer and Busy Signal have worked together in the past on the single “Watch Out For This (Bumaye).” The video for that single went viral on YouTube and racked up over 20 million views.

Nicki Minaj brother Jelani Maraj was convicted of raping an 11-year-old girl who was his stepdaughter.
A jury returned the guilty verdict on Thursday after hours of deliberation, NY Daily News reported. Maraj, 38, sat in court stoned face as the verdict was read out. The highly publicized case saw the young girl and her brother testifying while giving graphic details of her sexual encounter with Maraj who was married to her mother. She told the court that he would rape her sometimes up to four times per day.
Nicki Minaj did not attend court during the trial, but she reportedly foots her brother’s legal bill. He is now facing 15 years to life in prison. Jelani Maraj got married to the victim’s mother in 2015 in a lavish wedding that Nicki Minaj reportedly paid for. The first allegation of the sexual abuse came just four months after the couple got married and the victim was just 11 years old at the time.
The young girl, who is now 14, testified in court that her stepfather anally raped her at one point, and then slapped her in her face and told her to keep quiet about what was happening. Her young brother also testified in court that he once walked into a spare bedroom and caught Maraj raping his sister. One juror told reporters that the young girl’s testimony was difficult to listen to. “What (the victim) went through all that time,” Juror Arthur Naclerio, 67, said. “Thinking that if it was a lie, how could she keep it up that long at that age?”
During the three-week trial, Nicki Minaj was rumored to be testifying on his behalf, but she never did and sources told Dancehall HipHop that her attorney advised her not to go near the courtroom much less take the witness stand. The guilty verdict in her brother’s rape case is now giving her some bad press.
His attorney accused the girl’s mother of being vindictive and wanted $25 million from the rap star to make the case go away.
