Lil Uzi Vert is struggling to quit drugs following the untimely death of rapper Lil Peep.

Since his death from a drug overdose on November 15th, Lil Peep friends and fans have been speaking out against drugs in a movement that has been gaining traction on Twitter. Several celebrities including Wiz Khalifa has spoken out against some drugs including lean, aka sizzurp, that is popular in hip hop culture. Now Lil Uzi Vert is saying he wants to be drug-free but it’s posing a challenge for him and he is not shy about it.

“We Would love 2 stop,” Lil Uzi Vert wrote on Twitter. “But Do You Really Care Cause We Been On Xanax All F***ing Year. Rip Buddy I 100% Understand and I Don’t Fault U.” He then sent out a second tweet joking about having some withdrawal symptoms. “Sober 2 day I have been shaking,” he continues. “I have been cursing my love ones out and fighting. In the studio with no thoughts in my head. Teeth biting down because I just wanna be angry at something. Maybe I will just smoke weed tonight.”

Lil Peep, born Gustav Åhr, passed away last week Wednesday of an apparent drug overdose on Xanax. At the time of his death, Peep was in Tucson, Arizona for a concert as part of his tour promoting his new album. Sources say he has been battling anxiety and depression for years. His older brother says his death was an accident. The SoundCloud rapper was 21 at the time of his death.

John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen are expecting their second child.

The model announced that she is pregnant in a hilarious video posted on social media on Tuesday. The short clip features the couple’s first child Luna making the big revelation. “What’s in here?” Teigen asked the big sister to be, to which she responded saying, “baby.” In an effort to clear up any speculation, not that there would be any, Chrissy Teigen says the baby belongs to John Legend.

“It’s John’s!” she captioned the video. The R&B singer then shared the Instagram post on his Twitter page where he added some baby and hearts emojis. Legend then jokingly commented on her video saying, “Maury will have the final word on this.”

John and Teigen currently have a 19-month-old baby girl named Luna who came into the world in April 2016. Earlier this year, the Lip Sync Battle host announced that the couple’s next baby will be a boy. “Since this is coming up again, I said our next baby would be a boy because that is the embryo we have left. A boy. So. Yeah,” she wrote on Twitter.

PnB Rock is crediting Drake from bringing melody to rap music and fans are reacting.

Needless to say that hip hop fans aren’t buying it, but PnB insist that the 6 God is the OG for rap melodies. He made the claim during an interview with Montreality, where he conveniently forget all the other rappers who harmonized their rap songs like Lauryn Hill, Andre 3000, Ja Rule, Nelly, Bone Thugs N’ Harmony, and many more. As a credit to PnB Rock, he did say Drake started it in his era.

“Drake n***a started that sh*t to me bro,” he said. “I don’t give a f**k what nobody say. I can’t say he started it, but in my era of time he started it. N***as was doing it before like Ja Rule did it. A lot of people was putting little melodies into they sh*t even back in the day. But he really made it to where as though you could rap and sing on some real sh*t at the same damn time.”

PnB Rock says he was in prison the first time he heard Drake rapping and singing melodies on his breakout hit “Best I Ever Had” in 2008, and his first thought was this is dope. “I remember when I first heard it, it was like 2008,” he said. “I was locked up… I was in placement [at] Vision Quest. “Best I Ever Had” came on the radio and I was like, ‘Bruh, who the f**k is this n***a, bruh?’ I’m like, this n***a is the most fire sh*t I ever heard.”

While Drake is a hugely talented artist who is great at blending rap and R&B, he is certainly not the pioneer of that musical art form. A lot of artists before him did it and did it well also.

Bro @drake & @pnbrock NEED TO MAKE FIRE TOGETHER ???? PLEASEEEEEEEEEE

[Chorus: Drew Love]
It’s hard to sleep these days
The sounds of all the screams keep me awake
Love is gone, love is gone
[?] tear we break, stand by and watch us all go up in flames
Love is gone, love is gone (uh, yeah)

[Verse 1]
Shit, the world is a flame
We worry about materials and the simplest things
When cops are killing people, and can’t take the blame
They get acquitted, then you wonder why all the people rage, stupid
We all keep praying for peace, praying for progress
If you live in the hills then you stay in the projects
So folks won’t listen if they think what I’m saying is conscious
They’d rather hear me turning up on some simpler topics
Yeah so what’s my place and my idol line
Then speaking what’s going on, and saying what’s on my mind
This shit is fucked up, plus it’s happening all the time
My job, as a rapper is to entertain, we tryna shine
I’m not no politician, but they listen to somebody informal
All the kids gotta find out whats really important
I got a platform and a voice and a stage to perform on
Music could be a good escape, but outside it’s been storming

[Chorus: Drew Love]
It’s hard to sleep these days
The sounds of all the screams keep me awake
Love is gone, love is gone
[?] tear we break, stand by and watch us all go up in flames
Love is gone, love is gone (yeah, uh)

[Verse 2]
As I sit in the studio, guess the thinking this
If the statement’s too crazy then should I finish this
Or if my image is pretty, don’t wanna blemish this
Or ever split up my fans, reduce my relevance
Pay attention and understand what the premise is
Everything not gravy, we can’t pretend it is
So I salute YG, fuck the president
Cuz he a fucking racist supported by white supremacists
Fuck Donald, go back to this running businesses
We all wishing somehow we could’ve prevented this
Until we all love each other nobody benefits
Minorities and Feminists, Trans, Gays and Immigrants
The government mix politics and religiousness
So a man’s body’s more free than a woman’s is
The anger is real, the riots are limitless
And nothing’s gonna change ’til we killing off all this ignorance

[Chorus: Drew Love]
It’s hard to sleep these days
The sounds of all the screams keep me awake
Love is gone, love is gone
[?] tear we break, stand by and watch us all go up in flames
Love is gone, love is gone

[Outro: Drew Love]
Monsters we’ve turned into monsters
How do we get the way we are
How do we get the way we are
How do we get the way we are
Our conscience, we lost it
How do we get the way we are
How do we get the way we are
How do we get the way we are
We are, we are
How do we get the way we are
We are, we are
How do we get the way we are
We are, we are
How do we get the way we are
We are, we are
How do we get the way we are

[Intro]
Lil Purpp, aye this shit sound Smokepurpp as fuck
Lil Purpp bless yo trap
Oh my God, Ronny

[Chorus]
Damn, I geek a lot, I geek a lot and a lot
I’m off the Xan, pour the Wok
And I got VVS diamonds my watch
Stop tryin’ come in my spot
I want the brain, want the top
Tell one to come in my spot
I’m off the bean, not the Wok

[Verse]
Wait, yeah I got rich
I could just fuck any bitch
Smokin’ on thoink with yo bitch
She say my gas really hit
Big choppas, ride with mad yoppas
She see the racks on the floor and she hop on my dick like she was a grasshopper
Gucci my kicks, I got designer from head to my kicks
Even my pants are designer, they rich
Walk in the mall and spend a lil’ brick
I’m off the Xan and I’m off the drank
Look at my Backwood it’s full of that stank
Diamonds just water, they came from a tank
I pop a bean and get racks at the bank

[Chorus]
Damn, I geek a lot, I geek a lot and a lot
I’m off the Xan, pour the Wok
And I got VVS diamonds my watch
Stop tryin’ come in my spot
I want the brain, want the top
Tell one to come in my spot
I’m off the bean, not the Wok
Damn, I geek a lot, I geek a lot and a lot
I’m off the Xan, pour the Wok
And I got VVS diamonds my watch
Stop tryin’ come in my spot
I want the brain, want the top
Tell one to come in my spot
I’m off the bean, not the Wok
