Eduard Basurin, a representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, said that the authorities of the people's republic do not exclude the possibility that some countries, such as Bulgaria, Turkey and France, may try to convince Russia create corridors for the withdrawal of militants from Mariupol.
According to him, now the main tasks are cleaning up residential areas and destroying enemy heavy equipment.
“It is necessary to provide people with a peaceful life. To do this, you need to clean up residential areas and destroy heavy equipment that strikes at them. Then we will sort it out according to the situation, how to smoke them out of there, ”Basurin said on the air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
He specified that France, Greece, Turkey would take part in the negotiations on the organization of the corridors, possibly Bulgaria.
“The Bulgarians called me the day before, they are concerned about the current situation. True, they were sailors, but who knows? There are also citizens who are in the basements. Therefore, I believe that they will try to convince Russia to create corridors for the withdrawal of persons whom no one would like to see that they are present there, ”Basurin emphasized.
Earlier, Basurin reported that Ukrainian nationalists were in the port of Mariupol have seized two foreign ships and are holding their crew members hostage.
