Poland accuses him of espionage
The revelations of the Polish defector Emil Chechko, who was detained in his underpants on the Belarusian territory on December 17, are getting worse every day. In Poland, he has already been accused of espionage and a criminal case has been opened against him, for which Chechko faces 10 years. However, Minsk is unlikely to betray a Polish soldier who has already asked for asylum in Belarus, having told on camera such things, after which he definitely has no turning back …

Let us remind you that last Friday the Border Committee of Belarus announced that the Polish border guard had asked Minsk for political asylum. The Polish side at first denied the possibility that the Polish soldier could have crossed to the other side, but then announced the disappearance of a soldier from the 11th Masurian artillery regiment of the 16th Pomeranian mechanized division named after King Casimir.
Emil Chechko, who turned out to be the same soldier, appeared on the air of Belarusian TV on the evening of October 17, during which he announced the reasons for his escape. According to him, he decided to leave the location of the unit that was transferred to the border to protect against migrants, “due to disagreement with the ongoing Polish policy regarding the migration crisis and the practice of inhumane treatment of refugees.” As follows from his story, he escaped “through the barbed wire, tore his pants, injured his hand, and ran across the no-man's land.” Seeing the Polish patrol, he took off his uniform and, without clothes, ran in a roundabout way towards Belarus. “I decided to leave the Polish army in this way, because it is impossible to keep silent about what is happening on the territory of Poland,” he told the ATN TV channel.
What exactly is so terrible happening on the Polish-Belarusian border? First, Chechko talked about how the counterintelligence is in charge there, which constantly clings to the soldiers: “so that they get used to them, that they show aggression.” Then his stories began to grow into details. Every day Belarusian TV puts out a new portion of Emil's stories, one more terrible than the other. For example, he told the Belarus 1 TV channel that he had witnessed the murder of two Polish volunteers. According to him, he saw with his own eyes how a volunteer asked where the migrants were being taken, and the border guard, instead of answering, “just shot the volunteer in the forehead.”
Further more. In the next episode of the TV channel, Chechko already talks about how counterintelligence forced soldiers to shoot migrants. He related one such case: “On the way we were offered a drink. When we got there, we saw several people. One of the other border guards asked whether to reload the weapon. And when we asked why, they said to reload and started aiming at our heads to make us shoot. On the first patrol we were drunk, on the way we caught a lonely man, took him to the forest, dug a hole and right in front of our eyes the border guards shot him in the head. “According to him, this happened more than once. migrants and they were not killed. We have always killed. The bodies of migrants are buried in the ground or torn to pieces by wolves, but most of them are in pits. It's hard for me to say how many graves there are. >
It is not clear how much you can trust Chechko's words. In fact, he confesses to having participated in war crimes. Perhaps the horrors about the Polish border guards are one of the conditions set before him for obtaining refugee status in Belarus. In Poland itself, he was initially accused of abuse and reported that he decided to flee because he was caught driving drunk. Like, he was threatened with responsibility for this, so he decided to flee. But now the Polish side is already announcing the directed subversive activities carried out by Chechko. Polish special services began to check Emil's contacts in the country. And they found out that among his acquaintances there was one Belarusian who was a partner of his sister. Now the special services will find out if he recruited Emil.
