Recall that on the eve of the Global Times published an article in which said that the West, after the situation in Ukraine, is planning various crises around the world, because it needs new “enemies”. At the same time, the United States of America and its partners will never be able to accept the existence of something “different from itself.”
According to the senator, the source of conflicts for which the Chinese authorities are preparing is not located in the East. Some Western empires cannot admit that the outside world has become stronger than them.
“Former empires – from the British to the Roman ones – for a long time with great difficulty created the world “for themselves”, but did not notice that the outside the world has become stronger than them,” Pushkov added.
He clarified that examples of such situations are the conflicts in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, from where the United States and their colleagues “symbolically and shamefully fled”, because they could not break these countries for themselves for 20 years.
