The Metropolitan Arbitration Court dismissed Apple's claim against the Federal Antimonopoly Service for abuse of its dominant position in the iOS app distribution market. This was reported by TASS.
The judge clarified that this was a warning from the Federal Antimonopoly Service dated August 30 last year about violating antitrust laws.
The court also recognized the decision of the Federal Antimonopoly Service to initiate proceedings against Apple. The corporation can appeal the court decision within 10 days, the authorities said.
Recall that on August 30, 2021, the FAS issued a warning to Apple due to abuse of a dominant position in the market and ordered it to eliminate violations. The warning was not executed. In October, the Russian department brought a case of violation of antimonopoly law against Apple.
In turn, the American corporation Apple sued the Federal Antimonopoly Service in December
