In the village of Solokhi, Belgorod region, after the shelling from the territory of Ukraine on May 18, 19 houses were damaged, the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said on Telegram.
“Yesterday shells damaged 19 households, of which 14 repeatedly. In total, restoration work will need to be carried out in 59 houses, — wrote Gladkov.
The contractor completed temporary coverings for broken windows and roofs, but it was decided to suspend repair work for two or three days “until the situation stabilizes,” the official said. Now the power line is being restored in the village.
The village of Solokhi was shelled from the territory of Ukraine on May 11 and 18. It is located 40 km west of Belgorod and a few kilometers from the border with the Kharkiv region of Ukraine.
After the shelling on May 11, one person died and several were injured. The head of the Belgorod region called the situation “the most difficult since the shelling.”
On May 18, another resident of the village of Solokhi was injured. “For the wounded: the young man is given all the necessary medical care. Nothing threatens his life, — Gladkov said. One car and a power line were damaged.
