The Russian armed forces launched precision-guided missile strikes on 38 targets in Ukraine, hitting a fuel depot and a radar station. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov.
“High-precision air-launched missiles hit 38 military targets in Ukraine during the day. Among them <…> a fuel depot near the village of Volnoe Pole (Donetsk region) and a radar station in the Pechenegi region (Kharkiv region)”, — Konashenkov said at the briefing.

Konashenkov also provided a summary of day April 29:
▪️ Aerospace Forces aircraft hit 22 military targets of Ukraine.
▪️ Missile troops hit three military targets of Ukraine, including the launcher of the Buk-M1 air defense system, the Mi- 24 APU.

▪️ Artillery struck: five command posts, 13 strongholds, 64 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, as well as seven artillery positions.
▪️ Air defense systems shot down three Ukrainian Tochka-U over Izyum, Novaya Dmitrovka, Dry Kamenka, as well as rockets of the Smerch multiple launch rocket system; near the settlement of Topolskoye.
In total, according to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of hostilities:
- 142 aircraft,
- 112 helicopters
- 640 unmanned aerial vehicles
- 279 anti-aircraft missile systems
- 2646 tanks and other armored combat vehicles
- 305 multiple rocket launchers,
- 1,184 field artillery and mortar guns,
- 2,475 units of special military vehicles.
A day earlier, the Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of seven Ukrainian drones by air defense forces over the settlements of the DPR, LPR and Kherson region. Also during the day, three Ukrainian ballistic missiles “Tochka-U” were shot down in the areas of the settlements of Petropillia and Malaya Kamyshevakha [Kharkiv region].
During the day on April 28, Russian aircraft hit 76 Ukrainian military targets, including two depots of rocket and artillery weapons. More than 320 personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 35 units of armored vehicles and vehicles were destroyed. Another 38 Ukrainian military facilities, including six depots of rocket and artillery weapons, ammunition and fuel, were hit by high-precision air-launched missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
In all this time, the Russian military has only twice reported the number of losses. The last time data on losses was announced on March 25 by the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel General Sergei Rudskoy, during a special operation in Ukraine, 1351 Russian servicemen were killed, 3825 were injured. According to him, the losses of the Ukrainian side amounted to about 30 thousand people by March 25, «including more than 14 thousand— irrevocable and about 16 thousand— sanitary» (wounded or sick, temporarily out of combat capability).
Russia has been carrying out a special operation in Ukraine since February 24th. The Ministry of Defense stated that it does not strike civilian targets.
