Russian air defense systems shot down two Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft in the air near the settlements of Fedorovka and Plants in Kharkovskaya area, as well as an unmanned aerial vehicle in the vicinity of the village of Preobrazhenskoye, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the agency, tactical aviation units destroyed 44 military facilities of the Ukrainian forces, including two command posts, an illumination locator and targeting S-300, three depots of missile and artillery weapons, as well as 23 locations of Ukrainian military and equipment.
The Ministry of Defense said that rocket troops and artillery hit 113 targets, including four command posts, as many artillery batteries, two fuel and lubricants depots, and 103 strongholds and places of concentration of Ukrainian military personnel. Fuel and lubricants and ammunition depots were also destroyed near the towns of Barvenkovo and Dobropillye by high-precision missiles, the department added.
In total, according to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the military operation, 136 have been destroyed aircraft, 471 drones, 249 anti-aircraft missile systems, 254 multiple rocket launchers, 998 field artillery pieces and mortars, more than 2.3 thousand tanks and other armored combat vehicles, as well as more than 2.1 thousand units of special military vehicles .
The day before, on April 16, the Russian military department also reported irretrievable losses: according to the Ministry of Defense, since February 24, the Ukrainian army has lost 23,367 people.
